Fish and Chip Supper with Lord Ridley

 

Tonbridge Branch Conservatives invite you to a fish and chip supper with Lord Matt Ridley on Thursday 9 March 2023 at The New Telegraph Club, Priory Road, Tonbridge TN9 2AS at 7.00 pm with food served promptly at 7.30 pm.

Tickets cost £15.00 (£16.00 on PayPal to cover administrative charges) with cash bar and raffle.

There is a choice of food with either fish and chips, sausage and chips or a vegetarian option.

There is a British Rail car park opposite the venue with tickets payable by downloading an app.

Matt Ridley, was elected to the House of Lords in February 2013. He served on the science and technology select committee 2014-2017. He is an author who has written books that have sold over a million copies. They have been translated into 31 languages and won several awards. They include the Red Queen, The Origins of Virtue, Genome, Nature via Nurture, Francis Crick, The Rational Optimist, The Evolution of Everything, and How Innovation Works.  He is a regular speaker on TED Talks and has participated in a wide range of current affairs programmes. He writes a weekly column in The Times (London) and writes regularly for the Wall Street Journal. On Saturday 18th March at 12.30pm -2.00 pm at Wickhambreaux Village Hall, The Street, Wickhambreaux, Canterbury Conservatives Association and delighted to welcome Mims Davies MP for a Ploughman's lunch with dessert and a glass of wine. 

There will be a drinks reception beforehand at 11:30-12:30 for a very limited number of people, tickets for this and the lunch are £30 (£32.50 if buying on Paypal to cover service charge).
