Tunbridge Wells Fighting Fund 2026

 

Thursday 7th May is polling day in Tunbridge Wells. Our candidates and activists have been out on the doorsteps every week for the last three months, and voters are telling them that they are disappointed with the Liberal Democrats record at the town hall.

Residents are worried about large scale housing developments on greenfield site. They are worried about the Liberal Democrats plans to saddle taxpayers with significant debt for the first time in our borough’s history. We can see a shift in sentiment when we look at our canvass returns – our efforts are making a difference.

Elections are expensive and we are throwing everything we can at this one, which is why I am asking for your help. Will you support our local candidates with a donation to our 2026 Fighting Fund?

Short Bio

Kevin Hollinrake as served as Member of Parliament for Thirsk and Malton since 2015. He was appointed Chairman of the Conservative Party in July 2025.

Kevin previously served as Minister of State for Enterprise, Markets and Small Business from 2022 to 2024, and later held senior frontbench roles including Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade and Shadow Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government prior to becoming Party Chairman.

The Sevenoaks Conservatives are pleased to announce that Alex Burghart MP, Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, will be the guest speaker at the Annual Sevenoaks Conservative Association Dinner with the Supper Club on Friday, 6th March 2026.

Alex is widely regarded as an excellent and engaging speaker. He currently serves as Kemi Badenoch’s deputy in the Shadow Cabinet and is playing a key role in the Party’s ongoing policy review and renewal programme.

Tonbridge Mulled Wine

 

The Tonbridge Conservative Association is delighted to invite you to our mince pie and mulled wine event taking place on Friday 12 December 2025. Join us in Hadlow from 7pm. 

Tom Tugendhat MP will be joining us, so please come along to catch up. We will be holding our usual Christmas Jumper competition with a prize for the best jumper and Tom will kindly judge this. There will be mulled wine, non-alcoholic mulled wine, soft drinks, delicious homemade mince pies, sausage rolls, and other tasty nibbles.

A welcome glass of bubbly and canapes will be followed by a Warm Pastry Tartlet with mozzarella & tomatoes, topped with melted Taleggio cheese and drizzled with olive oil & basil dressing. Slow-cooked braised Beef, sliced and served in a rich red wine sauce, with carrots, green beans & roast potatoes. Cheesecake with winter berry compote, followed by coffee and mints.
