An Evening with Damian Green


Gravesham Conservatives and Adam Holloway MP are delighted to welcome the Rt Hon Damian Green MP for Ashford to Gravesend

Damian has represented Ashford since 1997 and has served in Government in a number of different roles. He is currently co-chair of the Adult Social Care APPG and chair of the Conservative One Nation Group.

An Evening of Conversation with Johnny Mercer MP



The Kent Conservative Group is delighted to welcome Johnny Mercer MP, Minister of State for Veteran Affairs, for an Evening of Conversation on the 21st of February at 7pm. 

Johnny will be interviewed on his career, from his time in the army to his work with Veterans by Tom Tugendhat MP. They will also delve into the escalating foreign affairs in Ukraine, the middle east and Yeman. All this 
before you get the chance to participate in a lengthy Questions and Answers. 

The event will take place at the Medway Hall, Angel Centre in Tonbridge TN9 1SF.

Tickets are £20 which includes a welcome drink upon arrival.

Whiskey Tasting in Tunbridge Wells

 


On Friday 1st March, at 7:30pm, Tunbridge Wells West Branch invites you to a Whisky Tasting Evening. 

This is your chance to taste and sample 6 distinctive Scottish Malt Whiskies. 

The venue will be 15 St.Lawrence Avenue, Bidborough, TN4 0XA, kindly hosted by Tina and Richard Long. 

Places are limited, so we operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. This event is 18+ and the whiskey in the pictures are generic whiskey bottles.

Faversham and Mid Kent's Annual Dinner

 



We are delighted to invite you to our Association's Annual Dinner, on Friday 1st March. The dinner will take place at Shepherd Neame, The Old Brewery Store, Mill Place, Faversham (ME13 7DY), and will start at 19:00 for 19:30.

The Rt. Hon Robert Jenrick MP will be our guest speaker.

Robert was elected to the House of Commons in 2014, and appointed to serve in the Cabinet in 2019 - making him the third youngest person to attend and serve in Cabinet since the Second World War, after William Hague and Harold Wilson.

He has served as Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury, Minister of State for Health and Immigration, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government.

Tickets for the event are £40pp (£42.00pp on PayPal to cover the service charge), and will include a three-course meal with after-dinner teas and coffees.

Tea and Coffee with the Party Chairman

 



You are most warmly invited to come and meet him over coffee or tea on Thursday next week (25 January), at 10.30am. I know this is very short notice but it would be good to see as many members as possible.

We are very fortunate that he has found time in his busy diary to come to Canterbury, and this is our opportunity to ask him questions about our Parliamentary Selection. With the General Election expected later this year this is becoming increasingly important.
